I love how she added a new plot twist to it so although its a continuation of the Midnight Breeds series, I would consider it a spin-off. It's now focused on a new generation; the children of all the previous characters in the series. I thought that was awesome. For this particular book, I expected more though... honestly. Kind of a let down when I wanted so much more for Mira and Kellan. I can't wait for continuation of the series though because of all the new characters introduced; can NOT wait to read their stories. Like Nathan, Darien, the twins, Rafe, etc. New characters to fall in love with!
